Carl Matisse founded Summit Properties in 1994 and now sits on the Board of Directors. Matisse began his career as a Project Manager for General Motors in 1985 and left GM in 1994 to start Summit Properties. Summit rapidly became known as a premier construction company specializing in all aspects of commercial and residential projects. Matisse has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a Masters in Business Administration from Oakland University. He is a Licensed Builder, Associate Real Estate Broker and Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan and formerly a Certified Real Estate Appraiser. With this broad range of experience and knowledge, he helps direct Summit in all of its business ventures.
